In a meeting of snakes snared by a snark
a jabberwock ventured to make a remark
he jabbered a lot but said very little
that ammounted to more than a wee tiny tittle

the snark grew annoyed and bid a snake
to prepare a dinner of jabberwock steak
the snake, with due haste and zeal
prepared a tasty Jabberwock meal

in his hurry he forgot to remove the skin
which, being emetic, did their vitals in
this left the dining hall in an ungodly mess
as gleefully reported  in the simian press

to preserve his dignity and dictatorial grip
the snark instituted  deadly censorship
